Welcome to Staveley Welfare CC

Founded in 1926, originally members of the North Derbyshire Cricket League, and then the Bassettlaw & District until 1999 when joining the Derbyshire County Cricket League (DCCL).

A family friendly club with a strong tradition of developing players from the local community, some of which have progressed to the professional game, most notably Chris Adams who had a very successful career with Derbyshire, Sussex and England.

Our Senior Team competes in the Derbyshire County League Div.8N playing 40 overs per side on Saturdays with occasional Sunday fixtures

We have Junior Teams in the North Derbyshire Youth League U10 Kwik Softball games Friday pm & U11 Hardball games Sunday am & U12 Hardball (playing night TBC)

Seniors & Juniors practice is Tuesday from 6pm at the ground, with specialist coaching for Juniors

New players seniors and juniors are always welcome regardless of experience.
